How to make a Valentines Margarita?
so.. for valentine's day, i got my husband a Hamilton Beach Ice Shaver and a set of margarita glasses, i also got a few other things to go with it.
the thing is: I really don't know how to make a margarita.. i'd like either a pink or red recipe for one. If any of you know of a good margarita recipe, hit me up!
I prefer sweet way over salty!
Valentines frozen cherry margaritta
Double the mix for two people
Ingredients:
1 1/ 2 ounces cherry vodka
1/ 2 ounce triple sec
1 pounce limejuice
Splash grenadine
Lime circles for garnish
Method:
· Take a blender and pour the ingredients in it with 2 cups crushed ice and blend at high speed.
· Now, pour the mixture in a sugar rimmed glass.
· Garnish with lime circles.

Strawberry maragrita with an orange twist
Ingredients
3 parts of tequila
2 parts freshly-squeezed orange juice
1 part of fresh lime juice
1 part strawberry syrup
Coarse kosher salt or sugar (for the rim)
Lime or Orange Wedges - for garnish
Ice cubes
Method
First moisten the rim of the glass with lime juice. Then sprinkle salt on the the rim of the glass. You can even use powdered sugar for a sweeter drink.
Now fill the glass with ice cubes. Add the tequila, strawberry syrup, orange juice and lime juice, preferably in an ice-filled shaker. Shake well and pour the contents into a cocktail glass.
Garnish with a slice of lime or oranges and serve!
Tip: If You Want a darker pink shade in your drink, add one drop of POM to the glass. Combined with strawberry syrup, it gives a beautiful deep red color to the drink!
